2023 Artists for Water Recap:
Our communities in Vancouver and Toronto came together this spring to celebrate art, music and clean water in a big way!
It started in Vancouver where Dan Mangan got us on our feet, Grant Lawrence kept us in awe of his passion for all parts of this community, and Stephen Ranger auctioned off a beautiful collection of art at The Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
The momentum rolled across the country to Toronto, where Daniel Lanois, Tom Wilson and Shaye rocked the stage, photographer Edward Burtysnky spoke to the importance of protecting our most important resource and Stephen Ranger did it again with another spectacular art collection at the Globe and Mail Centre.
All in support of swimmable, drinkable, fishable water for everyone.
More than 500 supporters gathered to bid on art and attend the two special evenings that raised over $750,000, bringing the event’s fundraising tally to $9 million over the past decade.
