1. How to collect a water sample
This video will show you how to collect your 5 samples for recreational water quality (e. coli). The video demonstrates collecting samples by wading into the water. (see below for how to collect samples with a sampling pole or from a dock).
2. How to Fill out your field datasheets
This video will show you how to fill out your environmental observation sheets. As soon as you arrive at a site, you’ll begin filling out the chain of custody and environmental observation sections of your field datasheet.
You will use your ‘into the field guide’ while filling out the field datasheets to help reduce subjectivity in answering questions
3. How to collect QA/QC Samples
At some sites, you’ll have to collect samples for quality control and Quality assurance purposes. In this video, we’ll review what those samples are, why we collect them, and how we collect them.
