A Big Night for the Swim Drink Fish Movement: Guests of the 2019 Swim Drink Fish Gala Unite to Connect Canadians to Their Local Waters 

Canadian artists, musicians, and philanthropists contribute to another outstanding Swim Drink Fish Gala.

Artworks by James Lahey, Kim Dorland, Angela Grossmann, and Dana Claxton were highlights in the live auction.

September 28, 2019— Vancouver, British Columbia — Swim Drink Fish Gala
200 supporters gathered at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver in downtown Vancouver for the 4th Semi-Annual Swim Drink Fish Gala presented by Delta Land Development.

Highlights from the gala included:

  • Performances by Terra Lightfoot, Les Stroud, and Bill Henderson.

  • The 7-piece live art auction with Canada’s foremost fine-art auctioneer, Stephen Ranger of Waddington’s.

  • Swim Drink Fish board member Kevin Lowe and Swim Drink Fish Ambassador Karen Lowe appointing new ambassadors: Rosalind Adnani, Matthew Hornor, Lori Kay, Peter Mattson, Blair McKeil, and Janet York.

All gala proceeds help Swim Drink Fish build a movement of people working for swimmable, drinkable, fishable water.

Swim Drink Fish Canada’s initiatives (Lake Ontario Waterkeeper, Fraser Riverkeeper, North Saskatchewan Riverkeeper, Great Lakes Challenge, Swim Guide, Watermark Project, and Great Lakes Guide) create tools using law, science, and communications technology that inspire people around the world to explore, understand, and protect their waters.
