Waterkeeper comments on managing Ontario's water resources for future generations

This past summer, the Ministry of Environment (MOE) released a Proposal Paper entitled "Stewardship - Leadership - Accountability: Managing Ontario's Water Resources for Future Generations." The paper speaks to inter- and intra-basin transfers in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River basin, an issue Lake Ontario Waterkeeper has actively participated in.

LOW calls for Ontario to take a strong position against all inter- and intra-basin transfers as they could threaten to cause harm to the environment at the source and sink.
