Living at the Barricades returns for 2010
Every week Lake Ontario Waterkeeper produces a 30-minute radio show and podcast called Living at the Barricades. The show is broadcast on community radio stations, including CFRC, CFRU, and CFFF. It is published on our website so you can listen online or download it to your computer. This half-hour talk show is also on the iTunes Music Store, so you can subscribe and never miss a single episode.
Living at the Barricades is our show "about water and democracy". Every week, the co-hosts Mark Mattson and Krystyn Tully interview individuals, government spokespersons, NGO leaders, academics and others about water issues, the environment, democracy, due process - all the decisions and stories that influence water in our communities.
Living at the Barricades returned from winter hiatus in early January and new shows are coming out every Monday.
This week:Mark and Krystyn talk about a recent speech in Alberta by Robert F. Kennedy Jr: what he did say, what he didn't say, what he meant, and why it matters to everyone who cares about human health, fish, and the quality of North America's waters.
