In a city where people often live for years not realizing how close they are to Lake Ontario, a growing community of people have started to embrace a hidden gem at Ontario Place.
On Saturday, August 10th we joined representatives from groups like Park People, Ontario Place For All, Surf The Greats, Environmental Defence and unaffiliated area residents to take a closer look at the southwest section of Ontario Place.
The area is currently off-limits to swimming, but it has so much potential.
