"Our community needs a swimmable, drinkable, fishable Lake Ontario,” said Mark Mattson, President, Lake Ontario Waterkeeper. “Waterkeeper is honoured to be representing a growing movement of artists and leaders who are committed to ensuring a clean water future for all. As we work towards this goal, we have created game-changing platforms such as the Swim Guide, and a new national water centre dedicated to strengthening Canadians' thought-leadership on water and water health.”

The Swim Guide was funded in part by the RBC Blue Water Project. Avid outdoorsman Kenneth Irving donated his family home on the Kennebecasis River in New Brunswick to serve as the Waterkeeper’s national water centre.
