A special thank you to Swim Drink Fish co-founders Mark Mattson and Krystyn Tully for their heartfelt and moving messages, host Denise Donlon for guiding us through the night, and to our phenomenal performers, Les Stroud, Graham Clark, Terra Lightfoot, and Bill Henderson who made the stage come alive with their brilliant performance together.
Our event would not be possible without our committed and generous Presenting Sponsor Delta Land Development.
With the incredible help of Waddington's Stephen Ranger, we successfully held our first Swim Drink Fish Art Auction, and saw artworks by Steven Nederveen, Shepard Fairey, Dana Claxton, Angela Grossmann, James Verbicky, James Lahey, and Kim Dorland, go home with some very lucky members of the Swim Drink Fish community.
Funds raised will support our work as we continue to build our platforms that connect people to water, and help us collect data through our citizen science water monitoring hubs, share this information on Swim Guide and engage and guide our communities in understanding and protecting our waters.
We were pleased to welcome our 6 new Swim Drink Fish Ambassadors: Rosalind Adnani, Matthew Hornor, Lori Kay, Peter Mattson, Blair McKeil, and Janet York.
Much love and gratitude to our Gold Sponsor Seabridge Marine, Silver Sponsors Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation and Tejas Capital, and Bronze Sponsors Lassonde, Cement Association of Canada, and Denbigh Fine Art Services.
Our gala would not be possible without the support of our incredible volunteers, staff, and contributing sponsors.
If you made a pledge to donate but didn't get the chance to do so on Saturday night, you can follow up with me at lauren@swimdrinkfish.ca.
