Are you looking to know your local Waters? Looking for new ways to volunteer your time? Are you interested in supporting Swim Drink Fish?
Join our Kingston monitoring team as we collect water samples, photographs, and environmental observations around Kingston’s shoreline. 2022 is year three of our monitoring program, and this work can’t be done without the help of our amazing volunteers. By volunteering you can help manage our local water, and learn how to take, process, and analyze recreational water samples. Help us find out how healthy our recreational waters are!
Here’s how to become a Kingston Monitoring Hub volunteer:
2022 volunteer recruitment is live! Training for the monitoring program is a two-step process:
Step 1: Join us for a virtual orientation session where we cover the ins and outs of the program. We have two upcoming virtual orientation sessions:

Step 2: Join us in the field! After attending virtual training, we’ll send you a link to our volunteer portal where you can sign up for monitoring sessions throughout the summer.
