Congratulations to our September Winner, Rich Wallin!

Last month, we asked you to recall where your greatest memory of water took place.

Thank you to everyone who responded! We loved seeing which waterbodies resonate most with you.

Big shout out and CONGRATULATIONS to our winner, Rich Wallin! By telling us his watermark took place on Eagle Lake, he’s won one of our nifty SwimDrinkFish t-shirts!

Quick facts on Eagle Lake:

It’s located in Brainerd, Minnesota, neighboured by Nokay Lake and Clearwater Lake. A great variety of fish can be found in Eagle Lake, such as Black Crappie, Common Carp, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Green Sunfish, Golden Shiner, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Muskellunge, Pumpkinseed, Yellow Bullhead, Yellow Perch, and even some Walleye! The lake is also a popular spot for beach-goers and paddlers.

You can win a SwimDrinkFish t-shirt too!

This month, pay tribute to your watershed by sharing photos of what your watershed has provided you! On Instagram or Twitter, use the hashtag #ThankYouWatershed.

October is the time to rake in the harvest and collect our watershed’s fine treats. Why not say thank you?
