Waterkeeper's newest summer partnership with Ausmosis

We’re excited to announce our summer partnership with Ausmosis.

If you’re at all familiar with the Lake Ontario social scene - it won’t surprise you to hear that the Lake is a hot spot for surfing  - year round! With so much time spent on the water, surfers are frequently the first to show their support - and lend a hand -  for a swimmable, drinkable, fishable Lake Ontario. That’s just the case for Darryl Austin - founder of Ausmosis - Canadian Surf and SUP store.

After a lifetime spent on the water water, Darryl founded Ausmosis Boardcraft and surf shop which became the first and only Canadian designed and Canadian made surfboard and SUP brand. Located in Port Dalhousie - St Catherine’s - Ausmosis is located along the shores of Lake Ontario near Lakeside Beach.

This summer Ausmosis surf shop has partnered with Lake Ontario Waterkeeper. From now until the end of 2017 Ausmosis  will donate a portion of sales for each board sold. Funds will go directly towards Lake Ontario Waterkeeper’s to support or summer work towards a swimmable, drinkable, fishable Lake Ontario.

Here at Waterkeeper, we can’t think of a better way to spend our summer days than out on the water with these guys. A big shout out to Darryl and the Ausmosis team!

From May 1st - December 31st, Ausmosis will donate a portion of all board sales to Lake Ontario Waterkeeper to support programming to protect and restore Lake Ontario. Visit www.ausmosis.ca for more more information about Ausmosis SUP, Surf, and Apparel. Visit www.waterkeeper.ca/donate to show your support for Lake Ontario Waterkeeper’s work.
