Blue Flags awarded to 29 beaches and nine marinas in Canada this year, announces Swim Drink Fish
Twenty-nine beaches and nine marinas have earned the prestigious Blue Flag Canada certification this year. This prestigious award is especially powerful this year, when more Canadians than ever before will be looking for local destinations to connect with nature during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Blue Flag Canada is newest Swim Drink Fish initiative
The Blue Flag certification program is joining Swim Drink Fish. We are excited to be Blue Flag Canada’s National Operator and support communities working to restore swimmable water. We took this role over to help grow the Blue Flag program in Canada and connect Canadian beach and marina managers with the rest of the world.

Where do the 2020 Toronto Gala funds go?
Swim Drink Fish’s programs connect people to the water’s edge, then train them to collect and share water health data. We then leverage that network and data to restore local waters.
