We have always said that the gala is more than just a fundraising dinner. It’s a night for a community of people to come together, celebrate our shared love of water and nature, and plan for a future where everyone has access to beaches, parks, and wild places.
 
      
      Postponed: Swim Drink Fish gala and art preview due to coronavirus
Public health officials are calling on people to help limit the spread of COVID-19, to avoid travel, and to suspend mass gatherings. For that reason, we are postponing the Art Preview and Gala events scheduled for April 1 and April 23, 2020.
Where do the 2020 Toronto Gala funds go?
Swim Drink Fish’s programs connect people to the water’s edge, then train them to collect and share water health data. We then leverage that network and data to restore local waters.

Vancouver, British Columbia — 200 supporters gathered at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver in downtown Vancouver for the 4th Semi-Annual Swim Drink Fish Gala presented by Delta Land Development.
 
      
      Thank you for a big night for the Swim Drink Fish movement
Over 380 people gathered at Hotel X Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario for the eighth annual Swim Drink Fish Gala presented by Breakwater Investments and the McKeil Family Foundation. More than $585,000 was raised at the event, bringing the event’s fundraising tally to $3.985-million over the past eight years.
 
      
      Artists, philanthropists gather to honour Gord Downie
Over 400 people gathered at Rebel on the Toronto waterfront for the seventh annual Swim Drink Fish Gala presented by McKeil Marine. More than $500,000 was raised at the event, bringing the event’s fundraising tally to $3.4-million over the past seven years. All gala proceeds support Swim Drink Fish’s movement of people working for a future where everyone in Canada can experience swimmable, drinkable, fishable waters.

Two hundred prominent artists, musicians, philanthropists, and business leaders gathered at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia on April 14th to celebrate the Swim Drink Fish Gala Vancouver, (formerly “Waterkeeper Gala”), with over $250,000 raised, a new record, to ensure a future where everyone in Canada can experience swimmable, drinkable, fishable waters.
